This weekend Forward are very happy to be hosting an Incanter Hackday, organised by the London Clojurians group. If you're interested please sign-up through the registration form: it'll make it easier to plan the space and organise with the building security.

Incanter is a statistical library, written in Clojure, that attempts to provide a similar platform to R. We've dabbled with Incanter; both as a library to embed within our applications and as a 'statistical workbench' to visualise and analyse the data our systems produce. Antonio Garrote has written up some great pieces on how he's used it to understand Mahout's K-Means output.

We're hosting it at our office in Camden (some great pictures of it in a Flickr set) which is about half-way between Camden and Mornington Crescent.

You can find out more information and register on our event page.
